We believe in letting you try SuperClawd before committing. That's why we offer a free tier that gives you a real taste of the platform—not a crippled demo, but a functional environment to test with.

Here's exactly what you get with each tier and how to unlock the full experience.

Free Tier: Test the Waters

The free tier is perfect for individual developers who want to evaluate SuperClawd before bringing it to their team.

What's Included

Entity TypeFree Tier Limit
Skills1
Workflows1
Commands1
Resources1
Agents1
Teams1
Memories1
MCP Servers1
Guardrails1
Members1

With your free account, you can:

  • Create one of each entity type to test the platform
  • Connect Claude Code via the superclawd launcher
  • Experience 99.9% instruction reliability on your single skill
  • See the token savings compared to static instruction files
  • Test team collaboration (workspace members can access your skill)

Free Tier Limitations

The free tier has one intentional constraint:

  • 1 entity per type — You can't create a second skill, workflow, command, resource, agent, team, memory, MCP server, or guardrail until you upgrade

This gives you enough to validate that SuperClawd works for your workflow, but not enough to use it seriously in production.

Once you add credits to your account, you automatically upgrade to the paid tier. No plan selection, no feature flags—just instant access to everything.

With a paid account, you can:

  • Create comprehensive instruction sets covering your entire codebase
  • Build complex workflows that chain multiple operations
  • Add custom commands for team-specific actions
  • Store resources for documentation and context

Account Limits

Even paid accounts have reasonable limits to prevent abuse:

These limits work for 99% of use cases. Need higher limits? Contact us to discuss your needs.

How to Upgrade

Upgrading is automatic and instant. Two ways to get credits:

1. Purchase Credits

Go to SettingsBillingPurchase Credits

Choose the amount that fits your needs. Credits are consumed based on usage—the more your AI queries your skills, the more credits you use. Most teams find that $10-20/month covers their usage.

2. Use the Welcome Gift

New users can redeem the WELCOME gift code for free starting credits.

Go to SettingsBillingRedeem Gift Code and enter WELCOME.

This gives you enough credits to thoroughly test the paid tier features without spending anything.

Credit-Based Pricing

Unlike subscription models, SuperClawd uses credit-based pricing:

  • Pay for what you use — No monthly minimums
  • Credits don't expire — Use them at your own pace
  • Transparent consumption — See exactly what's using credits
  • No surprise bills — Set alerts for low balance

This model works better for teams with variable usage patterns. Some weeks you're coding intensively; other weeks you're in planning mode. Pay accordingly.

FAQ

Do I lose my free tier content when I upgrade?

No. Everything you created on the free tier remains. Upgrading just removes the entity limits.

What happens when I run out of credits?

Your account reverts to free tier limits. You can still use your existing entities, but you can't create new ones beyond the free limits until you add more credits.

Can I downgrade back to free?

When your credits run out, you automatically return to free tier limits. There's no manual downgrade needed.

Is there a trial period?

The WELCOME gift code effectively gives you a trial with full paid features. Use it to evaluate before committing to a purchase.
